My New "Toy"

I have been wanting a piano for a while now and I have always wanted a baby grand piano. Well the other day I was looking around on Craigslist and I found a baby grand for an extremely good price. To make a long story short Jason, his dad, his brother, and one of his coworkers went yesterday and picked it up. I have been having a great time playing it. I though that you might be interested in a few pictures of it.

Our Family is Growing

I thought that you would all like to know that our family is growing. No we are not having a baby but I probably had you going there for a minute. We finally bought Victoria two pets. Here is a picture of them.

Fall Fun

Victoria and I went with a group of friends to a farm/orchard today. She loved it and walked almost the whole time which was a decent amount of walking for her. Here are some pictures from our day out.

Here are a couple of pictures that I snapped last weekend on the way up to Dad and Moms. Victoria was tired of riding in the car so we stopped for a little while. She enjoyed the break in the trip. The view from here was spectacular.

Eating Corn

Grandma and Grandpa Major came to our house the other night and we had corn on the cob at supper. Victoria always has eaten the corn cut off of the cob. After watching Grandma eat the corn on the cob Victoria decided that she needed to try this. It took her a little bit to get the hang of it but before we knew it she was a pro.

Summer Update

I know that I have been really bad about updating my blog over the summer so I am going to try and give you some of the highlights of what we have done this summer.

We started the summer off with a trip to the Utica Zoo which Victoria absolutely loved! The first picture is of us outside of the zoo. The second picture is Victoria posing for us at the zoo.


We then went to Jason's sisters graduation party. We had great food and alot of fun at this.


Our next adventure was Victory Grove Camp. Unfortunately it rained almost every day and the camp flooded but I must say that Victoria loved the puddles. I know the first picture is not a good one but hey she was having fun.

We also bought Jason a bike and a carrier as well as a helmet for Victoria and have enjoyed riding around together.

We went to the Renaissance Festival in Sterling, NY. Victoria loved the horses and even got to go on a horse ride with Jason. She did not want to get off the horse but alas all good things must come to an end.


We also took a trip up to my parents house and from there we went over to Alexandria Bay and took a boat tour of the 1000 Islands. We stopped on the boat tour and looked at Boldt Castle.


So that is basically our summer in a nutshell. We have had a great time this year and have kept plenty busy.

Jason made me some shadowbox picture frames so that I can decorate pictures, invitations, etc. Well I got around to decorating our engagement picture. I like the way that it turned out. I thought that maybe some of you would enjoy seeing it, so here it is.
